Freedom to Live Life to its Fullest as God intended

“Let me tell you ’bout my Jesus

His love is strong and His grace is free

And the good news is I know that He

Can do for you what He’s done for me

Let me tell you ’bout my Jesus

And let my Jesus change your life. . .”

— Anne Wilson, from the song titled: MY JESUS.

The theme of this week nationwide is FREEDOM. America’s Independence Day kicked the week off on July 4th, 2022. The populace of the USA joined in celebration — local, regional and nationwide in scope — to commemorate its 246th birthday..

Springing in thought from those national celebrations, I wandered amidst the personal memories of Blessings from the Hands and Heart of our Creator. Of how Jesus Christ has changed my life. Of the Good News of Forgiveness, Redemption, and Salvation in the Name of Jesus Christ. Of His Promised Return for those who accept His Plan of Salvation. Of my Creator, now Savior as well, dying upon the Cross of Calvary to provide the Sacrifice to make Salvation possible. Praise God!

“Let me tell you about my Jesus. . .”

It is humbling to think of Him bruised, battered, and ridiculed, nailed onto the Cross at Calvary—He thought of me, of you, of each and every one of us, as His Created, and willingly Gave His Life as a Sacrifice that we might Live life eternal. Truly humbling, the Son of God stepped from His Heavenly Throne, lived amidst us as an example to us; and as a Sacrifice for us.

“His Love is strong and His Grace is Free. . .”

His FREE Gift of Grace is not meant to be earned by us. It is merely to be accepted. ‘God so loved the world that He GAVE His Son. . . ;’ John 3:16. Although freely given to Humankind, God’s love is expensive. ‘He is perfect, sinless, and holy, but we are not. Our sin . . . the ugly stuff, has to be dealt with, forgiven, set aside so that we can connect with Him directly. That’s one of the reasons Jesus came and died . . . so we could have this clean, clear, pure love relationship with the Father.’ E. G. White.

“And the good news is I know that He

Can do for you what He’s done for me

Let me tell you ’bout my Jesus

And let my Jesus change your life. . .”

That’s the really Good News, the availability to ALL humankind of His FREELY given Gift. By accepting that Gift, you WILL be changed. How do I know? Because I have been Transformed by Jesus Christ. I’m not ashamed in any way to write it, proclaim it far and wide: Christ and I are ONE. He has filled my heart and mind, and powerfully Transformed me. Praise the Holy Name of Jesus! I know that He wants that Transformation for you, too! — FM
